Pee Wee Basketball — Pure Fun!

The great thing about Pee Wee Sports is that the players live in the moment. Whether they are keeping score or not, the players go after the ball — literally. And that seems to be half the fun! Sure, they’re working on their ball handling & passing skills, and they’re learning about teamwork and good sportsmanship at the same time, but let there be no mistake, the name of the game here is: FUN! This was most evident when Forestville and Upper Marlboro met this past weekend in an action-packed matchup.

Maryland wins 4 in a Row!

After some disappointing non-conferences losses at home, Maryland has rebounded to the upper echelon of the ACC Standings. When they lost their game against American Univ., I predicted that both teams would be better for it. And now American is in first place in the Patriot League. It was obvious from that game that both coaches had something to use as motivation as they prepared for conference play.

Univ of MD vs. Clemson – Women’s Volleyball

All teams relish the opportunity to take on the champion and it was no different with Maryland when they took on Clemson in ACC Volleyball play. Clemson, whose 27-3 overall and 20-1 ACC record had already earned at least a share of the ACC title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, was hoping to clinch an outright conference championship with a victory over Maryland. As it happens in so many match-ups of this type, the challenger rose to the occasion. …More …
