Parkdale Winter Blitz Wrestling Tournament
Parkdale High School’s Winter Blitz Wrestling Trournament has developed into a popular regional wrestling tournament. In its 9th year the tournament continues to attract quality teams from the region. The 2009 Winter Blitz featured 20 wrestling teams. We encourage parents and coaches from the Parkdale Winter Blitz Wrestling Tournament to share news about their student-athletes’ academic achievements as well as their athletic triumphs.
Bowie Bulldogs Wrestling
This past weekend, Bowie entered into a Quad Match hoping to improve on an already successful season. Several of their wrestlers were undefeated in their weight classes and were looking to qualify for a chance to compete for a State Championship. This wouldn’t be easy, as they had to face fellow Prince George’s County team Eugene Burroughs and teams from Calvert and Charles County. Would these Bulldogs rise to the occasion?
