Prince George’s High School Cross Country teams have won a total of 18 State titles. The most recent of these titles was won by the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Girls’ Cross Country team in 2007. Eleanor Roosevelt team has won straight Class 4A titles in Girls’ Cross Country. They also have the most Cross Country State titles having won 6 of them. The last boys Cross Country Title was won by Bowie High School in 1984. Central High School leads in Boys Cross Country titles with 4. Strong performances from Prince George’s County Runners are expected year after year. Cross Country is a sport that can lead to a lifetime of fitness.
