Prince George's County Sports (PGCSports.com) will feature a "Game of The Week" each week in Prince George's County, Maryland. We will try to cover all of the major sports from Pee Wee Soccer to Division 1 College Football. Nominations are now being accepted for games being played from February 1st, 2008 Through March 31st, 2008. Teams featured in PGCSports.com's Game of the Week will receive Free Images on CD.
The Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex Field House Hosts Indoor High School Track Meets
This facility, will host more than 15 high school track meets during the 2007-2008. Once again it will host the prestigious Nike Indoor Track Championship for High School athletes. This event will take place on March 15 and 16, 2008.
In Prince George’s County we are fortunate to have the premier indoor flat track in the region. It’s a fast 200 meter, 6-lane oval track. Nearly 3,000 spectators can view the indoor track events that take place at the Sports and Learning Complex
The track hosts about 75 meets annually with between 500 and 2,500 competitors per meet. In 2006 - 2007, more than 40,000 athletes competed from over 250 teams and nearly 100,000 spectators witnessed their achievements
