The University of Maryland competes in 27 sports.  Men’s and Women’s teams routinely compete for National titles and win.  The University has sent many athletes to the Olympics and to professional sports teams.  Several of them have medaled or achieved Hall of Fame enshrinement.  Having these teams competing in Prince George’s County is a much appreciated asset. Take your family to one of the many venues on campus to see performances at the highest level of collegiate athletics.
