The University of  Maryland is the proud host of the 2007 NCAA Field Hockey Final Four, November 16 -18.   Tickets are currently available from the University of Maryland

The 2007 Terps are the two-time defending NCAA Champions. They won the 2005 and 2006 titles. Unlike many champions who see their team’s strength depleted through graduation, this team wins and rebuilds year after year.  Returning this season are eight starters and 13 letterwinners from last year's team.  They will be joined by a gifted class of five freshmen.

When you establish yourself as a national power it's easier to bring in talented players; incoming freshmen Meghan Dean and Katie O'Donnell were selected to the United States Under 21 National Team. O'Donnell is also a member of the U.S. Senior National Team and was the youngest athlete to earn a senior international cap for the United States when she was 16. She played in the 2005 Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile, alongside former All-American Terrapin and current National Team member Lauren Powley. O'Donnell is a forward-midfielder and was a two-time high school All-American at Wissahickon High.

"As always, Maryland hockey thrives to stay in the moment," said six-time NFHCA National Coach of the Year Missy Meharg. "The theme is always to show our new Terps about the culture of Maryland hockey, which is to continue to outwork our teammates and taking the group further by our own example and being our own leaders."

Maryland is the Host of the 2007 NCAA Women’s Field Hockey November 16 – 18th. National Championships Games always provide thrills so get your tickets early because this event will sellout.
