Terps Strive For Another Bowl Victory This year promises to be very successful for Maryland as they return 37 letter winners, including 12 starters, from the 2006 squad. They'll be joined by a recruiting class of 25 student-athletes, a group which included four All-Americans and 18 all-state honorees.
It will feature players such as senior Andrew Crummey, who could join the list of Consensus All-Americans at Maryland. Lance Ball is also a senior, and could earn All-Conference Honors. Along the way, he is likely to break into the Top 10 for rushing and touchdown scoring at Maryland. Another senior to watch is Keon Lattimore, who is also poised to finish high on Maryland’s All-Time rushing list Erin Henderson is a candidate for the Bronco Nagurski Trophy. Darrius Heyward-Bey was a freshman All-American at wide receiver. These are the just a few of the Terps to watch on the national level.
