Prince George’s County has a rich Basketball tradition with many of its high stars turning into stars at the professional level.  This tradition of excellence begins with your teams participating with Boys and Girls Clubs, AAU or other Basketball leagues. More than 50 Girls and Boys Basketball teams are listed in our Directory.

There are some outstanding youth organizations such as the Dream Makers Academy which has produced 250 All County Athletes and 20 All American Candidates. Another county them Team Sol has teams that consistently perform well on the national level. 

Prince Georges County youth Basketball registrations are almost year round so check out our athletes wanted section to see if there are Basketball teams need players.  You can also see which teams need Basketball coaches in our coaches needed section.  In addition, you can learn how to become an official.
