Bantam Lacrosse

The current Bantams are the true Future of Prince George’s County Lacrosse. These players have reason to believe that they will be playing Lacrosse in high school like their peers in Montgomery and Howard Counties. Players and parents and have reason to be enthusiastic about Lacrosse in the County but hard work will be required of both.

Lacrosse is fast-paced and fun. Frequent substitutions provide new players with the opportunity to quickly learn the ropes. These players can contribute right away just by hustling. At present there are two Lacrosse programs opporating in Prince George’s County. The Prince Georges County Lacrosse Club and the Bowie Boys and Girls Lacrosse Both teams play in the Southern Maryland Youth Lacrosse League (SMYL). You can find out about these Lacrosse programs which have opportunities for boys from 5-17 years in our Directory . The Prince Georges County Lacrosse Club emphsizes three priorities: (1) safety; (2) sportsmanship; and (3) fun.
